The IJCC is delighted to support an event by Paralliance, "Reflections on the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics with Sophie Pascoe" held on September 17th (Fri) 2021 at 12:30 JST. 

The postponed Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games drew to a colourful close on Sunday, September 5, after nearly two weeks of competition among more than 4,400 of the world’s top athletes with impairments. The Games saw athletes compete in 539 events across 22 different sports, with an astonishing 69 World and 124 Paralympic records being broken. The 2020 Games also saw more female athletes take part than ever before.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak began, the IJCC has been actively collaborating with our members via our committees and various online events. Thanks to this we now have more opportunities to welcome young members to the chamber, especially those outside of Tokyo. Younger members give us a unique perspective and they are the future of the Ireland-Japan business relationship.
