Event Report: Osaka Meetup

On the 4th of September, the IJCC held a meetup with members and friends in the Osaka area at Irish pub Blarney Stone in Umeda.

We were delighted to be joined by Ambassador Damien Cole, Economic Counsellor Rory Conaty and Team Ireland colleagues on the night. Thanks to everyone and their kind support of the event, we enjoyed a fantastic attendance of over 30 throughout the evening!

IJCC President Yoshihiro Tsuchiya and Ambassador Cole shared a few remarks midway through the evening welcoming the local Kansai-based Ireland Japan community. We were also delighted to bring our meishi draw to Kansai and Ambassador Cole drew our 2 lucky winning meishi of the night. Thanks again to IJCC Platinum Sponsor The Busker for your generous prizes!

It was great connecting with our members and friends based in the Osaka area. Thank you to our Kansai-based Corporate members Fortune Corporation, ATA Tools, and Shelbourne Liquor for joining us on the evening.

This event was organised by the IJCC Regional Committee with special thanks to Harumi Kanaya, Regional Committee Member and Andy O'Doherty, IJCC Director for organising a successful event!

If you are based in the Kansai-area and want to get involved, please feel free to reach out to secretariat [at] ijcc.jp.
