Founded in 1990, the Ireland Japan Association (IJA) is a not-for-profit association run by a team of voluntary council members who aims to ensure the continuation of the long-established bond between Japan and Ireland. The IJA is supported by its members which consist of individual, Ex-Jet Programme participants, Japanese Teachers in Ireland and Corporate & Patron Members.


What do you do in Japan?

I am head of the marketing department at Japan’s leading importing company for premium spirits, craft beer and mixers, Whisk-e. My main role is to lead a team to develop brands to grow in the Japanese market by creating solid business plans which ensure that all activation’s across the line are aligned with the brands strategy, budget and business goals.
