Welcome to our new intern Stella Violante

Hello everyone!

My name is Stella Violante, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Marketing Communications Intern. While I’m in Tokyo for the next two months I will also be supporting the team as the Events Intern. I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you and contributing to the team over the next six months!
 

I’m currently studying Marketing and Management at the University of Exeter in the UK, with one more year to go before I graduate. Before university, I spent three years living and studying in Japan during high school, so it’s great to be back! I’m also working on improving my Japanese while I’m here.
 

I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, and I’m half Indonesian and half Italian, which has given me a deep appreciation for different cultures. On my days off, you’ll probably find me reading, taking photobooth pictures, or exploring new cafés around the city.
 

As the Marketing Communications Intern, one of my goals is to help revive and relaunch the monthly IJCC newsletter.
