Welcome to our new intern Kailie Puhn

Hello everyone! My name is Kailie Puhn and I am the newest Events Intern at IJCC. During my time here, I will be assisting with events and other various projects based in Tokyo.

I grew up in both the U.S. and Japan (Okinawa) which has given me a strong interest in cross-cultural understanding and connection with people from different countries. I enjoy reading, socializing, and traveling to new places. Most recently, I traveled to Vietnam for the first time, and I hope to travel to Ireland someday as well.

When I found out my school offered an internship with the IJCC, I knew immediately that I wanted to apply. My interest in Ireland as a country, along with my experience with cultural events, made it seem like the perfect position for me. I believe that working at a chamber of commerce will also provide valuable hands-on experience of working in an international setting.

I look forward to contributing my best to the Chamber and getting to meet new people across the IJCC network!
