IJCC seminar held at University of Limerick campus

The Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce was delighted to have the opportunity to visit the University of Limerick on 8th February.

Thank you very much to Dr. Èrika Marcet, Head of Japanese Section, Professor Liam Murray, Head of School of Modern Languages and Ms. Olga O'Sullivan, Co-Op Manager, UL Global who warmly welcomed IJCC Director Dominic Keogh to the beautiful UL campus.

Following a tour of the university campus, including an introduction to Ms. Catherine Jeanneau, Coordinator of the Language Learning Hub, Dominic had the opportunity to present to UL students on “Ireland-Japan: Business, Trade, Networks & Opportunities”. The seminar covered his experiences of working in Japan and the opportunities for students with Japanese language skills.

Thank you to the University of Limerick for allowing us the opportunity to connect with your students and faculty. We hope to build on the already strong links between UL and Japan and look forward to further UL-IJCC collaborations together!
