IJCC Member Event: Embassy of Ireland - Global Solidarity Run Tokyo 2026

The IJCC is proud to support the Global Solidarity Run Tokyo on Oct 3rd, organized by the Embassy of Ireland, Japan.

This is part of a global event organised by an Irish solidarity-through-sports movement, Sanctuary Runners, with events in Ireland and around the world during October. The aim is to run/walk/jog together to show solidarity with people who are forcibly displaced or living in extreme poverty.

The Global Solidarity Run Tokyo 2026 will take place as part of the Unoki ParkRun (weekly free 5km run, jog and walk event), and is being organised together with the Delegation of the EU to Japan.

Date & Time: Saturday, 3 October 2026, 8am (Please arrive by 7.45am for registration, group photo and briefing)

Venue: Unoki Ryokuchi, Ota City, Tokyo
