Welcome Seibo Japan to the Chamber
The IJCC is delighted to welcome Seibo Japan as our newest NPO member.
Commenting on the decision to join the IJCC, Seibo Japan shared:
The international response to Ireland’s famine in the 19th century, and the global support extended to Japan following the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, demonstrate the importance of compassion that transcends borders. Through the work of organisations like Seibo, this spirit of global solidarity is carried forward, helping to ensure that children around the world have access to the nourishment they need to thrive.
NPO Seibo is a nonprofit organisation based in Japan with a mission to provide a hot school meal to every hungry child in the world. Since its founding in 2015, Seibo has focused on school feeding programmes in partnership with local communities in Malawi, one of the world’s poorest countries. Today, thanks to the support of donors in Japan and over 30 x school partnerships across Japan, Seibo provides over 3.5 million meals annually to over 20,000 children.
