On 15th February, the IJCC held our regular Third Thursday casual networking event at Irish Pub Peter Cole in Nishi Shinjuku with members and friends of the Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Japan (FCCJ).

Thank you to all of our members and friends of the IJCC who travelled in from other prefectures or visited from overseas to join us. We are grateful for everyone's overwhelming support of our growing Third Thursday gatherings!

A million thanks to FCCJ Vice President Juha Kolmonen, Executive Director Antti Kunnas and all FCCJ members and friends who attended and helped us mark our very first Finnish-Irish only joint Chamber event.

IJCC President Yoshihiro Tsuchiya opened the night with some words of welcome, followed by Juha, who spoke on the links between Ireland and Finland, using some Finnish and Irish words! Thanks to our FCCJ friends and a surprise donation from an attendee, we had a whopping 6 special prizes for our meishi draw! Our lucky winners took home 2 bottles of the fantastic Busker Irish whiskey with a Busker branded tote bag, 2 Moomin cups and 2 sets of reef-safe suncream.
