Tales from the Regions – Osaka

We are delighted to announce that the IJCC will host "Tales from the Regions - Osaka" on Tuesday 28th, September 2021 from 18:30 (JST).

This is a series of reports from around Japan. Our hope is to bring members closer to areas throughout Japan by sharing updates on Irish businesses, Japanese businesses connected to Ireland, and Irish people working throughout the country.

This time, we have a presentation from Andy O’ Doherty, an IJCC director and the General Manager Japan of an IJCC Corporate Member H+K International. Andy will give us an informative talk about business, industries, and Irish connections in the region. During the introduction we will also have a talk from Mr. Tom O’ Neill, the owner of The Blarney Stone Irish Pubs in Osaka and hear the story about Irish Pub business in Osaka in the difficult time of COVID-19.

We will also have remarks from the Irish Ambassador to Japan Paul Kavanagh.

And for those of you who wish to chat with the speakers and other participants, this time a ni-jikai (afterparty) will be held by using break-out rooms after the main session.

This event is free of charge and is open to all members, friends and non-members of the IJCC.

Registration is required. Please register below.
