Dia duit! My name is Lily Wu.

I am delighted to be a part of the IJCC team, as the new Operations Manager. I'm grateful to be involved with the incredible Ireland-Japan community that makes the IJCC unique.

While I have spent the past 4 years living in Dublin, I was fortunate to visit many parts of Ireland including Galway, Sligo, and Belfast. During this time, I was happy to meet some incredible individuals in the Japan-Ireland community through events such as Experience Japan, IJETAA events, and Qcon. Now, being on the other side, it is amazing to see the same passion I saw in Ireland, in the Ireland-Japan community here. It is clear that the community is what sustains the unbreakable bond between Ireland and Japan.

I'm eager to play a small part in the decades-long friendship between Ireland and Japan.

There are so many exciting things on the horizon, such as the 2024 opening of the new Ireland House in Yotsuya and World Expo 2025 in Osaka. I know the friendship between Ireland and Japan will only grow from strength to strength.

ジア グウィッチ！（アイルランド語で、こんにちは！） 

このたびIJCCのオペレーションマネージャーを新たに務めさせていただくウーリリーと申します。IJCCも一員となっている日本のアイルランドコミュニティに参加させていただけることを大変嬉しく思っております。

私は、４年間ダブリンに住み、ゴールウェイ、スライゴ、ベルファストなど、アイルランドの様々の地域を訪ねることができました。その他に、Experience Japan、IJETAA イベント、Qcon などのイベントを通じて、アイルランドにおける日本コミュニティに深く接することができ、大変嬉しく感じました。今度、日本に来て、アイルランドで感じた両国の強い絆が日本にも存在していることに深く感動しました。このようなコミュニティがあるからこそ、アイルランドと日本の間の途切れることのない絆がこれほど強くなってきたと言えると思います。 

また、今後、2024年に竣工予定のNewアイルランドハウスや、2025大阪万博など両国間の発展に寄与することが、期待されるイベントが待ち受けており、これからも両国の友好関係がより深まることを願っています。

その際、微力ではありますが、少しでもお役に立つことができれば嬉しく思います。
