What We Do
Chamber events are a great opportunity to network and gain knowledge about various aspects of the Ireland-Japan relationship and doing business in Japan and to keep up with developments in Ireland. Our members are busy people, so we aim to offer added value in the choice of speakers and the type of activity. We hope that you will find something of interest in our programme of events throughout the year, which covers a broad range of topics and themes.
The Chamber also works closely with other Chambers of Commerce and is a member of the influential European Business Council (EBC), the trade policy arm for European business interests in Japan.

| Events with Chambers of Commerce | The IJCC periodically organizes events with foreign chambers of commerce in Japan with a focus on networking. Events include guest speakers, seminars and evening networking |
| Ambassador Briefings | Corporate members are provided with an opportunity to hear from Ireland’s Ambassador to Japan. |
| Golf Tournament | Members and their guests are invited to an informal day of golf and networking, finishing up with a party and awards ceremony. |
| Economic Outlook | Well-known economists are invited to present their views and interpretations of the latest economic statistics and trends in the Japanese market. |
| Networking Receptions | At our networking receptions, members and guests can mix in a relaxed atmosphere. |
