The IJCC members gathered at the Conrad Hotel on February 22nd to wish farewell to the Ambassador of Ireland to Japan, H.E. Anne Barrington, as she prepares to leave Japan next month.

The Ambassador is also the Patron of the IJCC and has been an excellent supporter of the Chamber and the Ireland Japan business community over the last 4 years.

Surrounded by views of the Tokyo skyline at the Conrad Hotel's Bar TwentyEight, we enjoyed an evening of fine food, drinks, Irish harp music and reminiscing with Ambassador.

The IJCC President, Eamonn Murphy, commented during the evening "We thank the Ambassador for her energy and invaluable support. All of us at the Chamber give our best wishes to the Ambassador and her partner Ed. And we hope to see them return to visit Tokyo in the not too distant future. "
