IJCC Seminar: Buying Property in Tokyo

The IJCC is proud to present a seminar by Joseph Rigby, a director and major shareholder of Housing Japan, a company which serves the international community in Japan on real-estate issues as well as providing English information about living in Japan.

Profile: Joseph Rigby is Australian. He came to Japan in 1989 on a Japanese Government scholarship and graduated with an Economics degree from Kobe University in 1994. He worked for Morgan Stanley in Tokyo and Hong Kong and for Lehman Brothers in Tokyo. Joseph has been investing in Japanese real-estate since 2000. He is a director and the major shareholder of Housing Japan, a business which he co-founded with Mitsuo Hashimoto in 2000. Housing Japan is a real-estate broker providing leasing, sales and property management services for expatriates and foreign investors in Tokyo. Joseph is focused on the real-estate sales and property development side of this business.
