
Guest Speaker's Evening with Ms. Mari Christine, UN-HABITAT Goodwill Ambassador-
Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Guest Speaker's Evening with Ms. Mari Christine, the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) Goodwill Ambassador as well as the representative of the Asian Women & Children's Network (AWC).
Ms. Christine has lived in a number of countries by now. She is also a
specialist in urban engineering. With these unique experience and
professional knowledge, she is very active in international conferences and
speeches and working as a committee member for several governmental
bodies. In the event, she will talk about how the UN-HABITAT plays a roll
in the world and current situation of AWC as well as how businesses can
contribute to the world.
Born in Japan but she lived in various countries including Germany, USA,
Iran and Thailand. After coming back to Japan by herself, she graduated
from the faculty of International Affairs at Sophia University. At that time
she started working for the show business by being recruited.
In 1994, she graduated from the department of Social Engineering at the
postgraduate school of Tokyo Institute of Technology and she still continues
her study of the urban engineering. From a wide range of views based on
her unique background, she works for many fields including being as a
moderator for international conferences and ceremonies and as a speaker.
